Karsil Dental Professionals believe it's important that patients are protected from any possible harmful effects from radiation. That is why we use digital radiography, which decreases radiation significantly compared to conventional dental X-rays. To take a digital x-ray of your teeth, we insert a tiny plate into your mouth. The X-rays are then processed and transmitted to a computer screen in less than 5 seconds, where we will review them with you. You can see any problems for yourself, while reviewing your treatment options together. Digital X-rays help you to be more informed about your own dental health.
We often use a pair of high magnification loupes, or glasses, to help us perform the most precise and accurate dentistry possible.
With an intraoral camera, we can magnify your mouth and show you exactly what we're talking about on a screen. This allows you to see for yourself the crack, the stain, the gap, and the receding gum line.
With an articulator, we can make sure your restorations last for years, perhaps even a lifetime. The articulator helps us take measurements of your mouth and teeth to a very precise degree. Our goal is to get the veneers, crowns, and other dental procedures performed right the first time.
We use this amazing laser to scan your teeth for cavities that are smaller than the size of a pinprick. We have found that small cavities are much easier to address than larger ones.
Our system of safety protocols reduces the chance for cross-contamination. We have steam, heat and chemical sterilization. Instruments are heat-sterilized after each patient's use in a process called autoclaving. All instruments are bagged and sterilized. Many items are disposed of after one use.
