With her father as a dental technician, Dr. Nghi Trinh-Pham grew up with dentistry in the family, and for many of her formative years thought she'd follow in Dad's footsteps. But by the time she was a junior in high school, her father had convinced her to pursue a career as a dentist. She earned her Bachelor's of Science in Biology at the University of Houston in Central Park and went straight to dental school, the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston.
Upon graduation she entered into associateships with other general dentists in Houston and also provided low-income restorative dentistry to indigent Houston patients by working for the government. Since graduation, she has also completed a post-graduate program in esthetic dentistry at the University of Minnesota and Continuum Level One at the Pankey Institute, where among other procedures, she is studying implant dentistry.
In 2006, she opened her own dental practice within the Silver Pear Business Park. Her practice philosophy is to focus on the standard of optimal oral health care. This involves creating thoughtful plans that address patient concerns and any health problems uncovered by a comprehensive evaluation. Dr. Trinh-Pham is dedicated to investing substantial time for each patient, as well as tremendous care, knowledge and advanced technical training.
She maintains memberships in the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Orthodontic Society, the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Ninth District.
Dr. Nghi Trinh-Pham is married to Tung Pham, a computer engineer with NASA. Together they have two children, Karis, their daughter, and Silas, their son. When not practicing dentistry, she enjoys reading non-fiction, self-help books and traveling.
